How it works

A better start.
A real electrician.

ElectriHelp organizes the request and helps make the connection. You and your contractor decide how the work moves forward.

For customers

From “I need help” to next steps.

01 / DESCRIBE

Tell us about the job.

Provide your approximate location, project details and preferred timing. Optional photos can help when they can be taken safely.

02 / CONNECT

We check the network.

We review the request and share a relevant summary with suitable participating contractors. Matching considers territory, work type and stated availability.

03 / CHOOSE

Review your options.

We share available responses with you. You choose whom to speak with, and approve sharing your contact details. A contractor may need an on-site assessment before quoting.

You agree directly with your chosen contractor on the scope, permits, schedule, price and payment. No work is booked simply by submitting a request.

Useful details.
Your decision.

Apply with your territory and preferred work. Before activating your listing for referrals, we review your business information, applicable licensing or credentials, and insurance.

When a relevant request is available, you can express interest or pass. You set your own terms and receive payment directly from your customer.

Join the ElectriHelp network

A clear handoff.

Our team reviews requests and follows up by email. Contractors receive the relevant details, customers review available responses, and both sides decide whether to proceed.

There is no obligation to accept a request or hire a contractor.

From an AI conversation to a real job

The connection
behind the answer.

AI can help a customer understand a problem. ElectriHelp’s role is to help connect that need to a contractor.

Our goal for the ChatGPT connection is to use the same information that makes a job request useful: location, work type, project details and contractor preferences.

The intended experience is simple: a customer asks for electrical help in ChatGPT, ElectriHelp checks the network, and suitable contractors can respond. The customer still chooses, and the contractor still quotes and performs the work.

ChatGPT integration is not yet live. ElectriHelp is independent of OpenAI; joining does not guarantee placement in AI results or referrals.

For now, start your request directly through this website.

Common questions

Know what to expect.

Are electricians available everywhere?

Availability depends on your location, the work required and contractor schedules. Submit your location and project details so we can check. If we cannot match your request, we will tell you.

Who chooses the contractor?

You do. You may receive one response, several or none, depending on coverage and availability. Compare relevant experience, credentials, scope, timing and price. The fastest response does not automatically win the job.

How are contractors reviewed?

Before activation, we review business details, the license or credentials applicable to the stated work and location, and insurance information. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and work type. This review is not a guarantee of workmanship. Confirm the contractor’s current authorization, coverage and permit responsibilities for your specific project.

Will my contact details be sent to everyone?

No. We initially use a job summary and approximate location. We seek your approval before sharing contact details with a contractor. Avoid including unnecessary identifying information in your project description or photos.

Can I use this for an emergency?

This is not an emergency dispatch service. For fire, injury or immediate danger, move to safety and contact emergency services. Keep clear of downed power lines and contact the utility. Do not wait for a form response.

Who handles a problem with the work?

Your service agreement is with the independent contractor. Raise work, payment or warranty issues with them directly. You can also report concerns about a participating contractor to ElectriHelp so we can review their network participation.
