This notice covers ElectriHelp’s contractor network and its customer and contractor forms, operated by ElectriHelp Inc. and ElectriHelp USA Inc.

Information you provide

Customers may provide a name, email, optional phone number, approximate job location, project description, timing and optional photos or video. Please do not include your full street address, access codes, payment information or unrelated personal details in the initial request.

Contractors provide contact and business details, their service area and job preferences. During review, we may request relevant licensing or credential details, insurance information and other information needed to assess participation.

How we use it

We use this information to review requests and applications, communicate with you, assess contractor participation, identify relevant opportunities and administer the network. Submitting a request or application is not a newsletter subscription.

Sharing a customer request

We initially share a relevant job summary and approximate location with suitable participating contractors. We ask for your approval before releasing your contact details to a contractor. Avoid putting identifying information into free-text descriptions or uploads unless it is needed for the request.

If you choose to deal directly with a contractor, their handling of your information is governed by their own practices. Ask them about those practices before sharing sensitive information.

Service providers and website data

The website and forms use Squarespace. Form submissions are delivered to ElectriHelp’s designated email inbox and may be stored within the form service. Website, email and other providers process information needed to operate these services. Processing may occur in the United States, Canada or other locations used by those providers.

The website may use cookies for functionality, security, analytics and customization. Use the website’s cookie controls to review available choices. Do not upload highly sensitive information through these forms.

Retention and requests

We retain information as needed to handle your request, maintain contractor participation and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, to withdraw a pending request, or to stop receiving network opportunities. Some information may need to be retained for legal or business recordkeeping reasons.

Withdrawing permission does not undo information already shared with your approval. We will explain any practical limits when responding to your request.

Email customerservice@electrihelp.com with “Privacy” in the subject. Include enough information to locate your request, but do not email identity documents unless we specifically arrange a suitable method.
