What ElectriHelp provides

ElectriHelp helps organize electrical job requests and connect customers with independent participating electrical contractors. Contractor coverage and availability vary. Submitting a request does not book work or guarantee a quote, a response, a contractor match or a particular result.

ElectriHelp does not set the independent contractor’s price, accept the job on their behalf or collect the customer’s payment for the electrical work. Contractor success fees are separate and follow the policy below.

For customers

• Provide accurate information and only submit a request you are authorized to make.
• Do not take risks, open electrical equipment or touch wiring to gather information. Upload only material you have permission to share.
• You review and approve the request summary before it is shared with suitable contractors. The public map shows coverage only. Contractor company names appear to you when a contractor sends a quote or site-visit proposal. Your contact details are shared only with contractors you separately approve.
• You decide whether to contact or hire a contractor. Confirm scope, price, possible assessment fees, scheduling, applicable permits, insurance and warranty terms directly before proceeding.
• Any agreement for on-site work is between you and the contractor. Site conditions may change the scope or estimate.

For contractors

• An application does not automatically activate your company or guarantee referrals. Business details, applicable licensing or credentials and insurance information must be reviewed before activation.
• Keep service areas, qualifications, insurance and availability accurate. Notify ElectriHelp of material changes or if you wish to pause participation.
• Only accept work your business is authorized, equipped and insured to perform. You are responsible for your estimates, workforce, permits, work quality, scheduling, invoices and payments.
• You may accept or decline opportunities. Participation is nonexclusive, and a customer may compare more than one contractor.
• Use customer information only for the approved job request and related service communication. Do not sell it or add customers to unrelated marketing lists without permission.

Contractor success fee — 2%

Terms version: 2026-10-29-2pct-v1. Network signup, membership and lead invitations have no upfront charge. A 2% success fee applies only to a job introduced through ElectriHelp after you accept these fee terms, when the job is complete and the customer has paid you. Older jobs and unrelated future work are not charged retrospectively.

The fee is calculated on the final pre-tax job total, including labour, materials and agreed change orders. For example, a $5,000 job produces a $100 fee and a $15,000 job produces a $300 fee. Canadian jobs are billed in CAD and US jobs in USD; balances are kept separately. Applicable tax on ElectriHelp’s own fee, if required, will be identified separately.

Reporting and monthly statements

Report the final amount and customer payment through your contractor account. ElectriHelp verifies completion and payment before approving a fee. An AI message or a customer checkbox alone does not create a charge. Keep supporting job and payment records and tell us promptly about cancellations, refunds or corrections.

Verified fees are grouped by calendar month in America/Toronto time. October fees, for example, appear on a November 1 statement due by the end of November 30. An undisputed unpaid balance becomes overdue at 12:00 a.m. Toronto time on December 1. Actual month lengths and leap years are respected. Late delivery of payment instructions gives at least 14 days to pay.

Payment methods

You can arrange bank transfer, Canadian Interac e-transfer, cheque or cash with ElectriHelp. Follow the verified payment instructions supplied for your statement and currency. Offline payments are credited after receipt is checked, with a payment record in your account. Reporting “I paid” does not itself confirm receipt. Stripe card payment will be offered in your account when enabled; it is not currently active. Do not send card details by email.

Late payment and access

Only delivered, overdue, undisputed balances pause new invitations. You retain access to existing jobs, messages, statements and your account. Paying or resolving the overdue balance restores billing eligibility, subject to your separate business approval, credentials and availability. A pause is not an automatic permanent removal from the network.

Disputes, corrections and refunds

Contact customerservice@electrihelp.com or use the billing dispute option before the due date where possible. The disputed portion is excluded from an overdue pause while reviewed. Any amount still payable after resolution receives at least 14 days. A verified reduction or customer refund reduces the corresponding 2% fee; fees already paid are reviewed for an appropriate credit or repayment. No success fee is due on a job that was cancelled or never paid.

Contractor services

Agree on any service-call charge, assessment or electrical work directly with your chosen contractor before proceeding.

Safety, verification and concerns

This website is not an emergency dispatch service. For immediate danger, move to safety and contact emergency services. Keep clear of downed power lines and contact the utility.

Information review is not a guarantee of a contractor’s work or continuing eligibility for every job. Customers and contractors should confirm current requirements for the project and location. Report inaccurate listings or concerning conduct to ElectriHelp. We may pause or end participation while reviewing concerns, inaccurate information or misuse.

Earlier purchases

These network terms do not cancel existing purchased services, subscriptions or obligations. Contact ElectriHelp about any earlier purchase.
