Our standards
Confidence starts
with clear expectations.
A professional network needs more than a list of names. Here’s what we review, what you control and how to raise a concern.
Before a business is activated
Reviewed for the work
and the place.
Business information
We review the company’s details, contact information, service territory and the types of work it wants to receive.
Applicable credentials
We review licensing or credentials relevant to the stated work and jurisdiction. In Ontario, electrical work requires a Licensed Electrical Contractor business; a journeyman qualification alone is not the business licence.
Liability insurance
We review evidence of business liability insurance before activation and may request clarification or supporting documents.
Ongoing responsibility
Contractors must keep their details, credentials, insurance and availability accurate, and accept only work they are authorized and equipped to perform.
Review is not a guarantee of workmanship or continuing eligibility for every project. Confirm current credentials, insurance, scope and permit responsibilities with your chosen contractor before work begins.
Customer control
Your project.
Your permission.
- Review before sharing. You approve the request summary and photos that go to contractors.
- Choose whom to hire.Business names appear with quotes or site-visit proposals, before you choose.
- Approve contact sharing separately.Your full ChatGPT history is not sent to contractors.

ElectriHelp organizes requests and introductions. The independent contractor assesses site conditions and agrees directly with you on the work, price, permits, schedule, payment and warranty.
Photos are optional and should only be taken from a safe position. Never open electrical equipment or touch wiring to complete a request.
This service is for planning and arranging work. For immediate danger, move to safety and contact emergency services.
Questions or concerns
There’s a person
you can reach.
Report inaccurate business information, conduct concerns or a problem using the platform. Include your request reference and a brief description—never passwords or payment-card information.
We can review network participation and may pause or end it while concerns are assessed. Workmanship and warranty issues should also be raised directly with the contractor.
