Previous Contractor Terms
Earlier fee versions, retained for the jobs governed by those agreements.
These are previous fee terms. They are retained for existing jobs governed by each version; they are not the terms offered for new acceptance. Read the current 4% / 3% tiered accepted-quote terms.
Previous 3% accepted-quote terms · November 6, 2026
Contractor success fee · 3%
Effective November 6, 2026 · 2026-11-06-accepted-quote-v2. These terms apply to new requests created after the contractor accepts this version in their account. The contractor owes 3% of the accepted pre-tax quote when the customer accepts a priced quote in ElectriHelp. The fee applies to the agreed job or priced service call. Sending an estimate, receiving a lead or arranging an unpriced visit carries no fee. The contractor and customer agree on any deposit and pay each other directly.
Monthly statements and early payment
Accepted quotes appear on one monthly statement per currency. Pay the outstanding fees by the last day of the acceptance month for a 5% discount on those fees. Otherwise, pay the full balance by the end of the following month. Deadlines use Toronto time. A $5,000 pre-tax quote accepted in November earns a $150 fee. Pay $142.50 by November 30 or $150 by December 31.
Canadian jobs use CAD and U.S. jobs use USD. Sign in to see the job breakdown and payment options. Contact customerservice@electrihelp.com for verified transfer instructions or to request a correction for a cancellation, refund or revised quote. Overdue undisputed amounts can pause new invitations after delivery of the statement and payment instructions.
Previous 3% terms for earlier jobs · November 5, 2026
Contractor success fee — 3%
Terms version: 2026-11-05-3pct-v1. Network signup, membership and lead invitations have no upfront charge. A 3% success fee applies only to a job introduced through ElectriHelp after you accept these fee terms, when the job is complete and the customer has paid you. The 3% rate applies only to new jobs created after you accept these terms. Existing jobs keep the rate agreed under their original terms, including 2%. Jobs created before any accepted fee terms remain outside retrospective charges. Unrelated future work is excluded.
The fee is calculated on the final pre-tax job total, including labour, materials and agreed change orders. For example, a $5,000 job produces a $150 fee and a $15,000 job produces a $450 fee. Canadian jobs are billed in CAD and US jobs in USD; balances are kept separately. Applicable tax on ElectriHelp’s own fee, if required, will be identified separately.
Reporting and monthly statements
Report the final amount and customer payment through your contractor account. For a fixed quote accepted on the platform, both customer and contractor must confirm the current approved amount, work completion and payment before the fee is tallied. Amount differences require an approved revised quote or support review. Reports are declarations rather than independent bank verification; supporting evidence may be required. An AI message or one participant’s checkbox alone does not create a charge. Keep supporting job and payment records and tell us promptly about cancellations, refunds or corrections.
Verified fees are grouped by calendar month in America/Toronto time. October fees, for example, appear on a November 1 statement due by the end of November 30. An undisputed unpaid balance becomes overdue at 12:00 a.m. Toronto time on December 1. Actual month lengths and leap years are respected. Late delivery of payment instructions gives at least 14 days to pay.
Payment methods
You can arrange bank transfer, Canadian Interac e-transfer, cheque or cash with ElectriHelp. Follow the verified payment instructions supplied for your statement and currency. Offline payments are credited after receipt is checked, with a payment record in your account. Reporting “I paid” does not itself confirm receipt. Stripe card payment will be offered in your account when enabled; it is not currently active. Do not send card details by email.
Late payment and access
Only delivered, overdue, undisputed balances pause new invitations. You retain access to existing jobs, messages, statements and your account. Paying or resolving the overdue balance restores billing eligibility, subject to your separate business approval, credentials and availability. A pause is not an automatic permanent removal from the network.
Disputes, corrections and refunds
Contact customerservice@electrihelp.com or use the billing dispute option before the due date where possible. The disputed portion is excluded from an overdue pause while reviewed. Any amount still payable after resolution receives at least 14 days. A verified reduction or customer refund reduces the corresponding fee using that job’s originally agreed rate; fees already paid are reviewed for an appropriate credit or repayment. No success fee is due on a job that was cancelled or never paid.
Earlier 2% fee terms: 2026-10-29-2pct-v1
Retained for jobs governed by these earlier terms. New acceptance uses the 3% terms above.
Contractor success fee — 2%
Terms version: 2026-10-29-2pct-v1. Network signup, membership and lead invitations have no upfront charge. A 2% success fee applies only to a job introduced through ElectriHelp after you accept these fee terms, when the job is complete and the customer has paid you. Older jobs and unrelated future work are not charged retrospectively.
The fee is calculated on the final pre-tax job total, including labour, materials and agreed change orders. For example, a $5,000 job produces a $100 fee and a $15,000 job produces a $300 fee. Canadian jobs are billed in CAD and US jobs in USD; balances are kept separately. Applicable tax on ElectriHelp’s own fee, if required, will be identified separately.
